Sustainability and environmental awareness in our company

At oilRoq GmbH, we are actively committed to protecting our environment. To minimize our ecological footprint, we have taken several measures that reflect our sustainable approach:

• Electric car for our mobility: Since March 2024, our team has been using a fully electric vehicle to ensure environment friendly mobility. By taking this step, we are not only reducing our CO2 emissions, but also helping to improve air quality in our region.

          ⇒ Current km: over 5,000 km. We saved 910 kg CO2!

• Germany Train Ticket for environmentally conscious travel: We promote sustainable transport alternatives by offering the Deutschlandticket to our employees free of charge. In this way, we support the use of public transport and help to reduce private transport.
• Recyclable paper: We only use recyclable paper in our offices and for our printed products. This helps us to conserve resources and reduce waste.
• We always source our coffee directly from Colombia.

oilRoq aims to have social contribution according to their economic annual situation.

Social Project Sofiane Batoure 

We have taken on our social responsibility and, since 2017, have been assisting Sofiane Batoure, a refugee from Niger, in the integration into social and professional life. The first milestone was placed on February 15, 2018 with the work permit. From this day on, he supports our team as an employee on a mini-job basis.

We are committed to his educational, linguistic and professional development. He has recently successfully taken part in a suitability test at the Protestant St. Johannis Institution in Halle. He will graduate there from summer 2019.

Sofiane is a sports enthusiast and plays very successfully at FC Ammendorf. There he has last season "shot" to the top scorer.

The club is also very interested in a successful integration. That's why we work together in coordination with the club. It is important to us that he manages to stand on his own two feet economically. Our goal is to support him to the extent that he can do an apprenticeship and thus achieve another milestone in self-employment.
